Auto Table leveling Design

When you are enjoying a cup of cappucino or a glass of chateau-o-virgin at a roadside cafe or restaurant, you may have noticed that the tables never stand upright and everyone knows uneven road surface is the cause and just take it for granted.
Imagine what will be the scene at Roman Square in Venice with no one table standing in a upright position.
a 3 legs table still stand ok although it cannot be set horizontally but if it is a 4 legs table, it is a chaos because you never able to find 4 spots supporting the table legs evenly, so the table always tip everytime when someone put his hand on the table, it is so annoying.
Yes on some table stands, knobs with screw are fixed on the leg for people, usually the steward as expected by his boss, to adjust to leveling the table but if you are the steward, would you care to knee down at each table everytime, and turn the dirty knob with your fingers for just doing such silly leveling work.
